Vision with cataracts
The development of cataracts
is a normal part of aging. In exceptional cases they can also
be caused by injury to the eye, diabetes, kidney disease or medication.
Cataracts are caused by the opacification of the crystalline lens.
Light than travels through a foggy lens which results in lower
visual precision.
The only treatment for cataracts
is the removal of the crystalline lens and its replacement with
an implant. This surgical
procedure allows you to
benefit from the concentration of all light rays traveling into
your eye, which allows you to regain a good vision.
