The hyperopic eye

The hyperopic eye is either shorter than normal or it contains a cornea with a flat curvature. The images, especially close ones, are therefore focused behind the retina causing blurred vision. If you're hyperopic, or farsighted, you have difficulty distinguishing close objects but can also sometimes have trouble seeing clearly into the distance.
